INTRODUCTION

Rockmax Crystalseal is a crystallization waterproofing system based on cementitious slurry form. It consists of a selected silica aggregates, quartz sand, chemical additive and portland cement. Rockmax Crystalseal is full fill pore and capillary in concrete surface after chemical reaction develop. Rockmax Crystalseal withstand hydrostatic water pressure and permanent waterproofing system

  • APPLICATION AND INSTALLATION

    PREPARATION
    Concrete substrate must be sound, clean, free from oil, grease, mould oil, dust, loose particles and cement paste. Check and investigate void, honeycomb, or crack on concrete substrate. All damaged concrete must be repair prior to application. Saturated surface by spray water at least 2-3 hours prior application. No water standing on surface. Damp surface will allow chemical of Rockmax Crystalseal penetrate deeply into concrete.

    MIXING
    Mixer must use low speed drill mixer (500 rpm) with and including good quality steel paddle. Make sure all tools and equipments are in good conditions and clean. Add Rockmax Crystalseal (25kg bag) slowly into 7-8 litre of clean water. Mixing continueous approximate 3-5 minute until homogeneous. Do not add additional water to rework. It recommended to mix the whole set a time to achieve all mixture chemical in one bag.

    APPLICATION
    Apply Rockmax Crystalseal by plastic brush with approximate coverage rate 1-1.2kg/m2/coat. Two coat application is recommended. Allow 2-4 hours to dry between coats.

    Coverage rate: 1.0-1.2kg/m2/coat

    CURING
    Allow Rockmax Crystalseal curing by spry clean water with approximate 2-3 days after dry and 3 times a day at minimum. Protect with plastic sheet to prevent drying up is prefer.

    WATER BASED CRYSTALLIZATION WATERPROOF


    INTRODUCTION

    Rockmax HSC is a water based, chemical reaction, concrete and cement paste penetration to form a crystal matrix gel in pores, crack, void and capillaries below concrete surface. The solutions provide permanent concrete waterproof and increase concrete durability. The crystal matrix create a protection of cement paste from salt water, high contaminants water, sewage, waste water and some chemicals. Rockmax HSC will seal dead crack and hairline crack on concrete and remain active when contact with water

  • APPLICATION AND INSTALLATION

    PREPARATION
    Concrete substrate must be sound, clean, free from oil, grease, mould oil, dust, loose particles and cement paste. Ensure the surface is dry and free from standing water. Concrete must be at least 4 weeks old. All damaged concrete surface must be repair by high quality modified concrete repair mortar prior to application. Construction joints, Expansion joints, Penetrations, Floor drain, Floor cover, Corner joints must be seal and treat with waterproofing material such as waterstop, waterproofing self adhesive tape and/or sealants. The waterproofing detail will be available upon request to Rockmax.

    APPLICATION

  • Apply Rockmax HSC by spray or roller at coverage rate at 4-5m2/litre.
  • Do not dilute the product with water or solvents.
  • After flooded Rockmax HSC to surface area wait until dry approximate 2-6 hours.
  • Immediately pour water on surface after product dry.
  • Curing by flood water 3 days after application.
  • Protection the curing area at least 24 hours prior to traffic.
  • CURING
    Curing by flood water to application area 3-4 times a days at minimum 3-5 days.

    POLYMER MODIFIED CEMENT WATERPROOF COATING


    INTRODUCTION

    Rockmax Proof H3 is a one component polymer modified cement based waterproof coating. Its provide excellent bonding and waterproofing to concrete substrate. Can use on portable water tank.

    Rockmax Proof H3 can use as waterproof coating for basements, water tanks, waste water tanks, culverts, underground concrete structures, bathrooms, toilets, kitchens.

    Mixer must use low speed drill mixer (500 rpm) with and including good quality steel paddle. Make sure all tools and equipments are in good conditions and clean. Mix the material with clean water 5litre for 25kg bag of Rockmax Proof H3 . Mix for 3-4 minute until homogeneous and uniform.

    APPLICATION

    Apply Rockmax Proof H3 by plastic brush or roller on prepared surface with approximate 0.5-1.0mm per coat. Allow the first coat to dry approximate 2-4 hours and follow with second coat. Apply second coat in crossing direction with first coat. Allow second coat to dry at 2-3 hours. Make sure the surface dry up before spray water.

    ROCKMAX ADHESIVE

    11ADHESIVE FOR INSTALLATION RUBBER


    INTRODUCTION

    Rockmax Adhesive 11 is a one part, ready to use contact adhesive based on polychloroprene. It can be used for installation hydrophilic rubber waterstops on dry concrete substrates.

    Rockmax Adhesive 11 can be used as adhesive for hydrophilic rubber waterstops on dry concrete substrates.

    PREPARATION

    The concrete substrate must be sound, clean, dry and free from oil, mould oil, grease, dust, dirt, cement paste and loose contaminants. In case of dust and dirt we recommended clean by compressed air. Do not use water to clean.

    APPLICATION

    Apply Rockmax Adhesive 11 by brush on both adhere surface. All area of surface to bond must be cover with adhesive. Wait the adhesive to initial cure (or touch dry) at approximate 5-10 minutes depend on ambient temperature but no longer than 30 minutes. Press the rubber waterstop on the surface with constant pressure along the length of the joint. Use rubber hammer or steel roller for making rubber waterstop perfectly attached to the concrete surface. Allow the adhesive to cure at approximate 30 minute. Fully cure in 24 hours.

    STORAGE

    ROCKMAX RUBBERSTOP

    INTRODUCTION

    Rockmax Rubberstop is a rubber waterstop based on natural rubber. It used to prevent passage of water through construction and expansion joints. It can be used to all type of concrete structures such as water tank, waste water tank, sewage, channels, swimming pools, culverts, etc. Rockmax Rubberstop are also available in other polymers such as CR (Chloroprene/Neoprene), EPDM rubber.

    Rockmax Rubberstop can be used for stop passing of water through concrete structures such as water tanks, waste water tanks, retaining walls, underground structures, dams, reservoirs, box culverts, diaphragm walls and etc.

    PROCEDURE COLD JOINING OF RUBBER WATERSTOP

    1. Cut waterstop ends straight and true using sharp knife or saw blade.
    2. Clean and roughen the ends of the waterstop using abrasive paper and or wire brush 100mm from the end. Drill the hole for insert steel bolts.
    3. Clean the roughen surfaces using the clean cloth and water. Allow to dry.
    4. Apply a thin coat of adhesive to all surfaces, as the adhesive becomes tacky insert the end of the waterstop into the fitting. Be sure to insert to the full depth of the fitting and hand press together.
    5. Clamp all bonded areas using the steel bolts in to the holes and let set for 2 hours.
    6. Do not pull the bonded area for at least 24 hours.
    7. Bonds will reach maximum strength in approximately 14 days.

    ROCKMAX TUNNELSTOP

    Hydrophilic Strip For Precast Tunnel Segments

    INTRODUCTION

    Rockmax Tunnelstop is a hydrophilic rubber sealing material strip for sealing joints in precast concrete tunnel segments. It‘s designed for especially high water pressure. Rockmax Tunnelstop is formulated from high grade elastomeric material and hydrophilic resins. It will swell (more than 300%) when contact with water to perform internal pressure inside the joints against the water leaks.

No crack, damage, holes on concrete surface. Repair must be made prior to install waterstop strip. The water could enter from those damaged concrete.

    INSTALLATION

    Apply Rockmax Tunnelstop Adhesive along the joints. Allow adhesive to curing and become tacky. Apply the Rockmax Tunnelstop strip to the substrate. Use rubber hammer to finish the strip lightly. Connection joints by butted together only. Do not overlap. Keep the installed waterstop strip in shade and do not exposed to rain water or ground water.
