INTRODUCTION

Rockmax Strip BR is a self adhesive sealing strip waterstop Non Swelling type. Its provide watertight for joints both cast in place concrete and precast concrete joints. Design to use for non moving joint only. Use in concrete structures wall to wall, wall to slab, slab to slab. There is no effect from rain, water and wet conditions which may occur during installation.

APPLICATION AND INSTALLATION

PREPARATION

The surface of joints must be clean and free from dust, cement paste, mould oil, standing water and loose particles. Use wire brush to clean surfaces. Damaged concrete must be repair prior to install Rockmax Strip BR.

INSTALLATION

Rockmax Strip BR must be placed at center of the joints. Peel the protective paper of product strips. Press product firmly along the length of joint. Press approximate 30% to 50% of its original thickness to ensure watertight. Joining the strip by end to end. For vertical joint, Nail must be use for fixing.

INTRODUCTION

Rockmax Hydrostop CJ is hydrophilic rubber sealing material. The product can use for construction joints, precast concrete joints and tunnel segments. The product comprises of high grade rubber based material and special grade resin. Rockmax Hydrostop CJ will expand when contact with water to fill up gaps and voids. The material can expand and shrink to its original dimension in several times from wet and dry stage cycle.

APPLICATION AND INSTALLATION

PREPARATION

The surface of joints must be clean and free from dust, cement paste, mould oil, standing water and loose particles. A groove must be form by using rigid material such as metal strip form to achieve good profile. The groove dimension should be bigger than waterstop profile by approximate 1-2mm. The minimum concrete covering is 50mm.

APPLICATION

Apply Rockmax Adhesive 11 along the groove and wait until tacky prior to install waterstop. For rough surface joint, Epoxy adhesive should be use. Press Rockmax Hydrostop CJ into the groove. Make sure no standing water along the surface. Nail can be used to fix waterstop in position. Joining waterstop by butt joint only.

PACKAGING

20mm x 10mm x 10Meter.
Different size is available upon request.

STORAGE

Storage in cool and dry condition free from frost, water, moisture and high temperature. Avoid sunlight. Store in temperate between +5°C to +45 °C degree.

Rockmax Swelling 201 can be used for seal and watertight all kinds of construction joints in concrete, pipe penetrations, seal between precast concrete elements, H-beam penetration, king posts, rough surface construction joints, use as secondary protection for PVC waterbars, crack sealing.

APPLICATION AND INSTALLATION

SURFACE PREPARATION

The joint surface must be clean, dry and free from dust, loose particles, oil, curing compound. No standing water on the joint surface.

APPLICATION

Cut the plastic nozzle as per required thickness and profile. The size of sealing material is depended on the thickness of concrete joint. Apply the material continuous so there is no break in the joint. Allow 4-8 hours before pour concrete.

300ml cartridge.

INTRODUCTION

Rockmax Swelling 101 is a hydrophilic swelling waterstop. The based material is bentonite clay with polymer rubber. The product swell when contact with water create more than 300% expansion. The release benonite fill void between the two portion of concrete joint.

APPLICATION AND INSTALLATION

PREPARATION

Concrete substrate must be clean, free from oil, grease, mould oil, dust and other loose particles. Ensure there is no crack on concrete surface. Damaged concrete must be repair prior to install Rockmax Swelling 101 .

INSTALLATION

Apply Rockmax Adhesive 11 (adhesive) along the concrete construction joint. Wait approximate 10-15 minutes see the adhesive look tacky. Release paper of Rockmax Swelling 101 and press firmly on the concrete surface. Rockmax Swelling 101 can use together with nail. Make sure profile is attached to the concrete surface. Use butt joint for joining waterstop. Make sure the joint is firm and attached the concrete surface.

In case of water and rain environment, Apply Rockmax Swelling Delay after install Rockmax Swelling 101 immediately. Rockmax swelling Delay will protect the expansion rate from water and rain.
