HOT APPLIED ELASTOMERIC CONCRETE JOINT SEALANT


INTRODUCTION

Rockmax Jointseal is hot applied joint sealant. It composed of synthetic rubber, resin, additive, asphalt and selected grade filler. Excellent properties for horizontal concrete joint especially road, highway and bridge joints.

    • APPLICATION AND INSTALLATION

    PREPARATION

    Concrete joint must be clean and dry free from oil, dust, particles. It is recommended to apply Roxkmax Joint Primer to achieve good bonding.

    Melt Rockmax Jointseal together with the wrap plastic in an oil jacket melter. Control oil temperature not higher than 240ºC and control sealant temperature not higher than 170ºC. Make sure sealant is homogeneous and ready to pour.

    APPLICATION

    Pour Rockmax Jointseal immediately after melt. Working with in 2 – 3 hours. Setting time is approximate 4 to 5 hours before open to traffic.
