INTRODUCTION

Rockmax PUseal is a one part polyurethane sealant with excellent elasticity, weather resistance, non-sag and good watertight. Use for filling and sealing concrete joints with no primer required. Rockmax PUseal conform to ISO 11600 Class F25LM on anodized aluminium and mortar.

    • APPLICATION AND INSTALLATION

    PREPARATION

    The joints must be clean and dry. Remove all dirt, dusts, cement pastes, oil, grease and other contaminants. Concrete substrate age must be minimum 4 weeks old. Make sure the joints are in good condition and good shape. The repair and structural sound of joint surface is required by mechanical mean. Joints edge must be straight and sharp. Damaged joints edge must be repair by epoxy mortar or consult Rockmax for further advice.

    PRIMING

    Good condition and dry concrete joints is not require for primer. In case of porous concrete joints or damp surface, We recommended to apply Rockmax PU primer must along the joints. Allow the primer to dry at least 30-45 minute before sealant application.

    APPLICATION

    Backer rod and joint filler materials must be use to control the depth of joint sealant and movement direction of joint sealant. Apply Rockmax PUseal continuous by gun along the joint line. Press constant pressure. Paper tape should be use on top of surface to control excess sealant and nice appearance. Finish the surface of sealant with spoon or metal strap.
